If your wifi has been down for the past two weeks then you might have missed the news that Drake has dropped a surprise new album just in time for his debut Australian tour with Future Music Festival. The appropriately titled If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late features collaborations with Lil Wayne, Travi$ Scott, and PARTYNEXTDOOR appeared just after the release of a 14-minute short film Jungle scored by Drake’s frequent producer Noah “40” Shebib. ‘Jungle’ is one of the 17 tracks on the album which also includes tracks called ‘Wednesday Night Interlude’, ‘6PM In New York’ and ‘Madonna’.
The Canadian hip-hop superstar will play Future Music Festival sideshows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane next month with his extensive production including pyrotechnics, fire, lasers, extensive lighting, sound systems and more. Rapper 2 Chainz – who has collaborated with Drizzy on the tracks ‘No Lie’, ‘I Do It’ and ‘All Me’ – will play the support set at all dates.
