Bluesfest’s Justin Townes Earle Announces April Aussie Tour
Workhorse-like singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle is returning to Australia only months after he last graced our shores for a run of shows on the east and south coasts this April while he’s in the country for the impending Byron Bay Bluesfest event.
Kicking off with his slot at the renowned festival on 2 April, Earle will head to Tallarook, Victoria, on 3 April before returning to Bluesfest on the 5th and moving on to Adelaide, a series of shows in Melbourne and Sydney, Newcastle and Thirroul, where he wraps up on Saturday, 18 April. He’ll be joined by South Dakota-based muso Sam Outlaw for all his post-Bluesfest appearances.
Earle returns to Australia on the heels of the release of Absent Fathers, the follow-up to 2014’s companion piece effort Single Mothers, with the impending sojourn marking his eighth visit to the country in as many years. Dude loves Australia, so we’d be remiss to not reciprocate that affection in kind.
